"Bringing Derek Home"

Yesterday was our "2 month anniversary" of Derek's "Gotcha Day"!!!
I celebrated by finishing up the video that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks.
Hope you enjoy it....

Thanks so much for sharing! On a day when our gotcha day seems so far away, this encourages us and reminds us of His faithfulness. Thanks for letting us share it on our blog.

When I saw the picture of him looking out the window of the plane, the tears just fell. How awesome is our God!?

Okay, WOW. How on EARTH am I supposed to even remember all I wanted to say as I watched that video?

-BEAUTIFULLY done. I loved it. So, so, SO great to see all those photos.

-I loved that video clip of you waiting to go into Hannah's Hope- Chad leaned in to you, you getting all organized, and holding Micah's hand or something. I was holding my breath with you.

-I am dying that you did not pick Derek UP when you got there and he was sleeping. (Did they not want you to?)

-He looks so little in those pictures but so big now that he's home.

-He is SO cute!

-I can't believe how grown up Brock looks. Less a boy and so much more a man than even the last pictures I saw of him. Crazy.

-And Micah looks so TALL to me~ in that family picture where he's standing up on the right-hand side of you guys... maybe at the airport or something? I can't remember.

-Fun memories of being another family you met in another country for another little boy... alongside of you and Chad. I love it that that was the beginning of our friendship.

-You're cute.

-Speaking of families, how many families were there picking up their children? (Seems like a LOT).

-CONGRATULATIONS! We are SO excited for you, SO happy and thankful that God has led you to add yet another child to your family, so grateful that you have such a heart for the orphans, so proud to call you our friends!

(((hugs)))
