I am inspired....or should I say "RE-inspired"....
A friend introduced me to a new website today. Tonight I decided to check it out a little more....and I loved what I read. I felt very convicted to go into my archives and dig out this "blast from the past" clip-art (from a post in November)...and even MORE convicted to take up arms against my snooze button. Not soley for the purpose of defeating the snooze....but for the bigger purpose (much, much bigger) of spending time with my Lord!
Pray for me, would you?? I soooooooooooo want this to be the way I start my day! EVERYday!

Ok, this one really hits home with me and I must say, I'm ashamed. I hate to get up early. I've always been one who gets up about 2 mins before my kids and then drives them to school in my pj's. Praise the Lord nothing has ever happened that I needed to get out!
I've even conviced myself that I just don't do mornings! I've heard sermons on why we should get up early, and even have scripture referances. Still, I love my sleep. Also, just for the record, I've tried it. Wouldn't you know as soon as I did, my kids decided to wake up early! I'm taking a stand now to set my alarm, which by the way is something I NEVER do and hate the sound of that thing! To get up early...starting small and praying that it will get easier the more I do it. Thank you for the encouraging link! Pray for me!!!....seriously!
