You are probably thinking that we are actually IN THIRD DAY now, aren't you?
Oh, how I wish!!!
And just so you know, WE DID OFFER.
Apparently they are still thinking about it, because we haven't heard back yet.
And, before you make fun of our matching T-Shirts...
those absolutely adorable Third Day t-shirts (compliments of Carrie) were a very integral part of us getting this TOTALLY UNPLANNED opportunity to meet our very most favorite band!
I will spare you all the details of HOW we got to meet Third Day.
And I won't bore you with the "line-by-line" details of our conversation with them (did I mention we got to HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THIRD DAY??)
But I WILL share with you these important highlights:
-we made them laugh (they really did..and I think not just AT us, but WITH us!)
-we reassured them that we are both happily married women with families...we just happen to LOVE their music
-Carrie captured some video of this most happy moment!
-it is entirely possible that we got autographs :)
-we did, FOR REAL, offer to do back up singing on their next album/concert
On a more serious note, meeting Third Day in person was an awesome blessing. They were warm, friendly, genuine and funny.

I am still speechless, I really don't have anything to say in this comment except...I was *freaking* out BIG TIME!! And that I have acknowledged that I am a groupie (even though I didn't cry when I shook their hands) and I'm ready to go to another concert...just tell me when and what to wear :)
