This Wednesday, October 18th, is a very important day for a beautiful little girl in Guatemala...AND her family here in the USA who is anxious to bring her home!!
The sweet little girl is Katerine...her story is long, and not mine to tell...but it makes my heart ache...and I am asking today that you join us in praying for her. On Wednesday, somewhere in Guatemala, a judge will decide whether or not to declare Katerine "abandoned"...and she must be declared abandoned before she can be adopted.
Please pray for Katerine's family, too. Her mommy ("Stephanie" on my blog links), and daddy John, and brother Daniel (9 years old) have been on this adoption journey for a very long time. Please pray that God would continue to strengthen them. Stephanie has been so steadfast in her faith...but I know from experience that some days are much harder than others.
Thank you for joining us before God's throne for this precious child (and her family)!!!

Thank you Michelle for your call to prayer for Katerine (and us). All the prayers in our journey so far have made such a difference to us. Some days seem like a breeze and others are very painful and heartwrenching. But we do expect that God will be shown glorious and victorious during and at the end of our adoption journey.
To all who pledge to pray for us- Thank you from the depths of my heart. Thank you for joining us in our journey.
Stephanie,
We're praying at our house. :)
~Stacy
And thanks, Michelle, for the reminder!
