Hi everyone! Good news from Guatemala today! They are translating Micah's birth certificate...so we are officially out of Civil Registry! We had thought we were out almost two weeks ago when they found a minor error...now we are DEFINITLEY OUT!!
So, what does that mean?
They can now get Micah's passport and then submit our case to the U.S. Embassy (which should happen in the next couple of days)....THEN the Embassy will a couple of days to approve it. Once they do, they will issue our PINK SLIP with our travel date on it...If eveything goes "quickest possible" we could be in Guatemala within a week....If things go the slower route, it could be two and a half weeks....EITHER WAY....WE ARE GETTING SO CLOSE!!!!!
Praise God for the good news!!
And we are praying to get our PINK SLIP this week!!
