Time flies while we are having FUN!!!

I can not believe that I have not posted for 3 days! If time really does fly when you are having fun, then that explains it...because we are having a blast!!

Micah continues to be adjusting very well. He is eating great, sleeping great, and entertaining all of his visitors!! We have had a wonderful last couple of days...with visits from friends and family...and lots of "lazy" hang out time just for us, too!! (Pics: The plate on the kitchen counter proclaims our happy news, Micah gets a kiss from Papaw, Dean's hat was a big hit!, Micah with his Leedy cousins, Micah sweet talks "Aunt Dona" already!!)

It is hard to remember, now, just how trying the last year has been. As I walked by Micah's door tonight, and peeked in at him sound asleep in his crib, I just had this overwhelming feeling of peace...like the ten ton truck on my chest had been lifted. I think it is really just now all sinking in...but each time I have thought that over the past week, it just seems to get even better!!!

Lord, through all of this, I pray that YOUR light will shine brightly...we are so grateful, and so humbled by your blessings in the life of our family. We praise you, and we thank you tonight...our hearts are very full!

We just got home from our vacation, I could hardly wait to get on-line and read all about your trip. It was worth the wait! What a beautiful family and a beautiful story.

I could totally relate to your feelings as you prepared to leave Guatemala. I felt the same way, shear excitement about bringing our son home, but also sad for all that our little Lucas was leaving behind. I take great comfort in knowing that the Best that Lucas had in Guatemala, he has now too...our wonderful Lord.

Words cannot express how truly happy I am that Micah is finally HOME!!!! Thank you for sharing your story with us and for the WONDERFUL pictures! It's quite evident that Brock and Erica are enjoying their roles as big brother and big sister! What great photos of them!

May the Lord continue to pour out His blessings on you and yours and continue to shine brightly through you all. I hope you know He does shine brightly through the Timmons Family! You've been quite an inspiration Michelle. You have given Him ALL the honor, glory and praise through the ups and downs of your journey to Micah. May we all be able to do that!

I look forward to hearing and seeing more Timmons family stories!

Blessings,
Nina
